Kalamata
Kalamata is a city in Greece, located in the southwestern Peloponnese, in the region of Messenia. Home to about 54,100 people, it boasts a rich history dating back to Homeric times. The city is renowned for its production of olive oil and Kalamon olives, which enjoy international acclaim. Rebuilt after the earthquakes of 1986, it now features a modern appearance.
